Job description Responsible to assist the organization with all store related activities for proposed sites. Manages the store at site of all related activities such as handling issues, collecting receipts, updating ledgers, preparing stock statement, preparing reports etc. on a daily basis. Verifies and updates daily stock on the system, informing related personnel, when stock is low. Inspects deliveries for damages or discrepancies, reporting to related personnel of any variances. Ensures maintaining store material receipt and consumption on a daily basis. Issues materials as per the approved request. [ads Supervises and advises team at the site regarding waste of materials, improper use of material etc. Collects any unused materials at the end of the working day. Manages records and documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control. Prepares a list of excess materials. Update the stock periodically. Rotates stock and coordinates the disposal of surpluses Prepare monthly consumption reports along with site engineer. Inform the concerned Engineer/Store manager of the status of balance material in order to raise further indent. Maintain records of departmental tools, machinery etc. on site informing the concerned person of the working condition of the machinery. Ensures preparation of gate-pass for material and maintains record for Returnable & Non-returnable material. Maintains day-to-day material report. Requests store team for any required material coordinating, for the procurement and delivery of the materials on time. Intimates the disposal of scrap material. Ensures completed and approved “Material Request Form” is received before accepting any materials. Carries out ad-hoc tasks as and when requested by Line Manager. Qualification Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or similar relevant field. Minimum 3 years working experience in a store keeping, inventory handling role Preferred experience within a construction company. Ability to make accurate material requirement computations. Ability to analyze, manage data, system and materials Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good communication skills – written and verbal.
