Security Assistant Job summary/Role description

  • As a Security Assistant, Under the guidance of security Coordinators/Managers, you will contribute to the overall security operations to ensure effective security operations.

Duties and responsibilities of Security Assistant

  • Coordinate/supervise logistical personnel in dealing with online pass requests and other related matters.
  • Travel for short day trips to inspect pipelines related to the H&G project.
  • Communicate effectively to ranking Police and Military Officers.
  • Coordinate/supervise Guard force personnel working on H&G project.
  • At sometimes represent the Security Manager effectively.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • At least a high school graduate (university would be preferable).


  • 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in security roles within EPC projects /remote Oil & Gas fields.
  • Prior experience as security staff/ interpreter in Oil & Gas industry is a Must.

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluency in Arabic and English language is Must.
  • Competent in basic computer network systems and its functions.
  • Strong character with impeccable standards of reliability, honesty and integrity.
  • Familiarity with UAE security regulations and standards, including (CICPA) & (CNIA), is essential.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and procedures.
  • Capable of coordinating with law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
