One that puts people at the heart of everything we do, to reframe luxury hospitality for the better.\n\nOur hotels are unique in their own right, with their own distinct outlook and story to tell.\n\nYour day to day\n\nAs a Reservations Manager, your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day activities of the department, ensuring the hotel is actively securing the best possible yields through following effective rate management practices.\n\nEnsure that all correspondence and reservations are recorded and entered into Opera accurately and promptly and that all reservations are made in line with current rates in order to achieve optimum average rate and yield.\nEnsure Inventory is effectively managed through Opera.\nTo actively participate in Yield and Revenue management meetings offering operational systems information.\nEnsure that all reservations are made in line with current rates in order to achieve optimum average rate and yield.\nMonitor and ensure that all reservations team correspondence and guest contact is handled in a professional manner within 24 hour turnaround time.\nEnsure that policies and procedures governing the reservations department are adhered to.\nOversee the effective and accurate operation of all group and individual reservations.\nReview the daily reports to ensure reservations are accurate and complete with any necessary follow up.\nEnsure all reservations have an acceptable method of payment, deposits are charged where appropriate, and that this is noted in the booking.\nEnsure all rate loading requests are actioned in Opera and the rates database within 24 hour turnaround.\nCommunicate new and current rates and any inclusions they may have to the Reservations team, and ensure rates database is kept up to date and accurate.\nEnsure that guest history is accurately maintained and utilized.\nEnsure VIP guests are marked in the system and that any guest special requests are marked and followed through.\nEnsure group bookings are entered correctly and follow up on quotations\/contracts, deposit payments, routing instructions, and all information is passed on to relevant departments. For example, F&B in the event of meal requirements.\nManage wholesale\/Inbound contracts and allotments.\nMaintain the reservations roster ensuring high\/low periods are appropriately staffed in line with demand and payroll objectives, and annual leave is a appropriately allocated and utilized.\nOversee\/conduct the training of new reservations agents, and conduct performance reviews as required.\nAttend and participate in training, meetings and briefings as required.\nDevelop rapport with regular clients and booking agents.\n\n\n\nGuest Experience\n\nProvides the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.\nAble to support hotels service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer's experience.\nCollaborate with other departments, such as ales, marketing and product development, to support revenue.\nMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify sales opportunities.\nStay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics to drive sales growth.\n\nResponsible Business\n\nRaise the\u202fawareness\u202fand reputation\u202fof the\u202fhotel and the brand\u202flocally\nEnsure guest safety is a priority\u202fwith minimal interruptions or problems\nOffer advice to clients to\u202freduce waste, save energy and have a minimal impact to the environment\nOther ad-hoc duties -\u202funexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done\n\nWhat We Need From You\n\nAt least 2 years experience in a similar role in a five-star hotel.\nBachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or Economic Studies\nHighly computer literate with a high-level command Excel or other data analysis and billing tools\nKnowledgeable of hotel technology: PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, Extranets\nExcellent organizational, time management, and communication skills along with being quality-oriented with a focus on details, high-performance standards, ability to multi-task & meet deadlines, and technical proficiency.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nWe give our people everything they need to succeed.
