The role: The Deel Go To Market (GTM) Enablement team is seeking a talented Instructional Designer to join our team and create engaging and effective training content for our sales representatives and customer success managers. The role of an Instructional Designer is to take a brief created by a Product Manager/Operations Manager/Programme Manager and turn that brief into engaging learning materials for Deel’s team of trainers to deliver. The ideal candidate will have a passion for instructional design, a creative mindset, and a strong understanding of sales and customer success processes. They will also be able to create content for their intended audience, and adapt project briefs suitably to create content that aligns with defined learning objectives in a way that is engaging and impactful, to drive behavioral change. The day-to-day: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand learning objectives and content requirements, working cross functionally with the training team, Enablement program managers and others to ensure all feedback is captured Analyze, design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including: decks for Instructor Led Trainings, delivered by our Trainers, e-Learnings, and more videos, infographics, and other materials that will have an impact on the GTM Teams Utilize instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and multimedia techniques to create effective learning experiences Delivering content design that supports a blended learning approach including Video, animation, Voice Over, SCORM modules and HTML5 Strong knowledge of Bloom's Taxonomy and the Kirkpatrick Model Ensure content is accurate, measurable, and aligned with the objectives Evaluate the effectiveness of training materials through feedback, assessments, and metrics, and make improvements as needed Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and sales/customer success training Adhering to our company brand identity and standard Key requirements: Extensive writing, storyboarding, and verbal communication skills and knowledge of the ADDIE model of instructional design 3 years of Instructional Design experience in a tech setting Identify and write learning objectives that are measurable, achievable, and relevant Experience of technical writing, course design, development and evaluation methods within a virtual/e-learning environment A working knowledge of industry standard eLearning development/authoring software tools (such as GoMo/Articulate) and knowledge of mobile learning principles Demonstrable experience of using established eLearning methodologies, current research, theory and practice of instructional design and web based eLearning standards and specifications (SCORM, XAPI, HTML) Have an awareness of developing eLearning content for a range of people with different abilities (accessibility) across a global audience Demonstrable knowledge of Bloom’s Taxonomy and the KIrkpatrick Model Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
