About the Ecommerce Coordinator job


Online presence:

  • FMCG Retrieves vehicle particulars from the system. Includes calling motorists by displaying token number on the LCD / LED display units, retrieving test results and measurements, and vehicle file and the motorist’s personal data from police gateway.

Online Profitability:

  • Responsible to maximize online sales and profitability.

Range assortment:

  • Receive enquires / product introductions from suppliers, carry out product feasibility studies and make decisions on whether to add to the online range or not.

Supplier management:

  • Negotiate the best terms for the online only product groups in order to maximize margin. To include listing fees, rebates and promotional contributions in order to develop product lines.

Coordination within retail:

  • Responsible for the achievements of sales for online product categories based on the forecasts provided to the relevant Manager.

Sales analysis:

  • Carry out regular assortment review on the allocated product groups to assess product movements and rotate / remove slow moving products, minimize out of stocks. Include checking market prices and expected margins.

Monitors aggregators performance:

  • Ensure that operational/logistic issues relating to aggregators of the allocated products are dealt with effectively and professionally to ensure smooth delivery.

Monitors online station procedures:

  • Responsible for the effective communication between stations and aggregators to ensure that deliveries are efficient and action feedback.

Regular supplier performance review:

  • Analyse weekly product sales results, take decisions to reduce increase exposure or online space allocation based on the performance of individual products.

Ensures efficient use of technology:

  • Evaluate new software and technology in terms of its possible use within the Convenience Store networks.

Monitors sales performance:

  • Control the entry of data into and the generation of reports from the IT systems.
  • Check reports from the BI system to ensure that online profitability is constantly measured.
  • Make a monthly review and recommendations to stakeholders.


  • Responsible for preparing online product promotions after negotiating with the suppliers for the best offer and margins.

Vendor online management:

  • Negotiate visibility contracts with the suppliers for online space allocation or promotion thus ensuring generation of additional funds for periodic promotions or special launches for new and upcoming lines.

Market Knowledge:

  • Keep track of market developments on international and private labels in order to look at the possibility of launching co-branded or Emarat branded items.


  • Have more than 3 years of hands-on experience in retail sector.
  • Possess comprehensive understanding of the FMCG sector.
  • Hold a Diploma in any related field.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer systems and software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Skilled in data analysis to drive informed decision-making and optimize processes within the retail environment.
