OFFICER – QHSE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review completed Work Permits and maintain records of all the inspections and surveys in order to report results and follow up on compliance and corrective actions.
• Conducting Environmental Aspect Impact and Risk assessment for any new activity/new machine/facility, (in consultation with project manager/Senior Manager QHSE), wherever required. Maintain the summary of QHSE performance as well as first aid cases from site first aid register.
• Conduct QHSE trainings as well as coordinate with HO for any specific training requirement. Maintain Suggestion / Near miss database & communicate them to HSE manager after site review. Identify unsafe acts and counsel respective individuals.
• Monitoring the implementation of QHSEMS procedures/plan, by scheduled site visits.
• Provide assistance and advice to the concerned Project Head in fulfilling their responsibility.
• Audit/Inspect and evaluate all facilities, equipment and the operations in the workplace for compliance with and enforcement of applicable industrial safety codes, standards and regulations and submit a report on the same.
• Follow up investigation of accidents/incidents, unusual occurrences, and QHSE complaints and provide technical expertise to assist in preparation of incident investigation reports.
• Review and comment on or approve work orders/ purchase orders/ method statements related to site (wherever applicable).
• Maintain QHSE bulletin boards and signs and evaluating site traffic and road signs.
• Delivering of Toolbox Talk topics to all employees.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience preferably in Facilities Management, UAE / GCC

QUALIFICATIONS

• (Mandatory) Graduate in any domain (prefer Engineering)
• NEBOSH IGC level 3
• Optional Lead / Internal auditor ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
• Diploma In Industrial safety (1 year course), Fire Warden, First Aider
