About the job Our Client, a Well Reputed Consulting Firm, Is Looking For a Risk Advisory Manager, To Join The Team In Bahrain. Your Background You have at least 9 years of preferably international experience in a large audit / consulting firm, or a leading commercial organisation mainly in risk consulting services with at least 7 years in a managerial position. Ideally you had a previous exposure to financial services sector, retail and investment banking and insurance. You posses an experience in business development with proven achievement of targets, as well as in developing new services under risk consulting. Experience in establishing / implementing ERP framework, as well as in dealing with Forensics or Financial Risk Management is an added advantage. You hold a recognised degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business or related disciplines; a professional qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CPA and / or Masters) will be a plus, as well as CIA and / or CISA qualifications. Your Skills You have a proven ability to lead compliance advisory engagement and to deliver Board-level presentations. You are a native English speaker, and are at ease with writing reports independently with the highest standard of English. You have excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and presentation skills, and analytical ability. You are ambitious, mature and business-minded and possess high ethical standards. You are capable of working under deadlines and prioritise tasks. A knowledge of Islamic banking and an ability to speak at seminars / conferences would be a plus. Take a lead of large and sophisticated projects being a subject matter expert on engagements. If needed, lead internal audits of financial service clients (banks, insurance companies) in regards to investment, risk management, treasury and credit operations. Review files and reports, deliver presentations Take an active part in innovation, practice growth and team development (i.e., develop and roll out in-house training). Manage subordinates and multiple engagements, assist in recruitment processes (i.e., conduct interviews).
