What you’ll do: Work Direction: Provides work direction to Level 1 and 2 staff in order to ensure effective completion of work to time and quality standards. Materials Receipt: Receives materials into the warehouse and, when necessary, co-ordinates with Quality Control and end-users for the carrying out of inspections in order to confirm compliance with requirements. Location Assessment: Understands material type and determines location through established zoning and allocation instructions in order to ensure optimum storage conditions in line with requirements and to facilitate retrieval. Materials Issue: Facilitates the issue of duly authorized requisitions to meet end-users requirements, ensuring that they are provided feedback if issue is not possible due to prior commitment or stock shortage. Physical Inventory Program: Participates in annual and ongoing physical inventory program in order to confirm the accuracy and completeness of data records and to assist in identifying and resolving anomalies. Systems & Equipment Operation: Operates materials handling equipment/systems in order to facilitate the movement/recording of warehouse materials, ensuring all standard operating procedures are observed and that equipment/systems are properly maintained. Process Improvement: Reviews current procedures and processes with a view to identifying opportunities for improvement of Warehouse operations. Activity Reports: Completes accurate and comprehensive activity reports in order for more senior staff to monitor work progress. Customer Focus: Develops an awareness of the need to deliver against agreed service standards, and its positive impact on cost-effectiveness, in order to meet customer expectations. What you’ll need: Should be a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Candidate should have 3-4 years of relevant warehouse experience. Intermediate-level written and spoken English language skills. Excellent MS Office skills. Intermediate-level knowledge and understanding of finished products or raw material, equipment, and processes in own area. Intermediate-level knowledge of operating and safety procedures and standards. Intermediate-level knowledge of WMS.
